YOUR WILL

I can’t make decisions or know what is best

When I try to get by on my own

But follow Your wisdom and I will be blessed

Far beyond what I have ever known

I can’t always be all that I wanted to be

So I need You to show me Your plan

To be everything Lord that You want of me

For it’s only with You that I can

Your will and Your ways are there for me

In You there is purpose and meaning

Your will and the ways You care for me

So good, so perfect, so pleasing

I can’t always know the extent of Your power

Perfected in weakness and pain

But help me to grow through the darkest of hours

And count it as joy for Your gain

I can’t be too sure when You’ll give me the task

For which my life has been designed

So may I be ready to do what You ask

For the destiny You have in mind

May Your will be done

In my life today

May Your Kingdom come

As I go Your way
