TIME TO GET REAL!

What time is it? Summertime! It’s our vacation.

 What time is it? Party time! That’s right, say it loud.

What time is it? Time of our lives. Anticipation.

 What time is it? Summertime! School’s out. Scream and shout.

Finally summer’s here, we have come to praise the Lord.

 Of all the heroes in the world, He’s the One to really be adored

Now Jesus had a story that He told to help us see

There’s a loving heavenly Father, and His children are you and me

This is not a fantasy, a dream or fairytale

No virtual reality – my God is real!

What time is it? Time to get real – no more pretending.

What time is it? Time to get healed, from sin – turn to Him! 

What time is it? Time to reveal our happy ending

What time is it? Time to get real! Real love from above!

Like the son in Jesus story, we have wandered far away

And we separate ourselves from God by the wrong that we do and say

But God so loved us sinners that he punished his own Son

But He died and rose and clearly shows that He welcomes us back home

This is not imagin-ary, made up, or a game

For Jesus is reality - believe His name!

What time is it? Time to get real - with God in heaven. 

What time is it? Time to obey! Choose life – don’t delay!

What time is it? Time to confess - and be forgiven

What time is it? Time to get real! Real life starts today!

No more following our selfish dreams, now I know what Jesus means.

By His example, live life to the full, let’s go. God is in control!

Alright. Everybody. Yeah.

Real faith. Let’s show it. God’s champions, and we know it.

RED YELLOW GREEN BLUE - we’ll go for gold!

What Jesus says, we’ll do it. He’s number one. We’ll prove it.

Let’s give Him praise, and worship Him. That’s what this song is all about.
