We’ll stay on the track marked out by Jesus

Fixing our eyes on the things above

There’s no going back to the doubts that freeze us

We’re moving ahead in the Saviour’s love

There mightn’t be a cheering crowd for us

When we can’t stick the pace

But Jesus said he’d be around for us

To help us win the race

We shouldn’t ever need to look behind

Or fear the other team

Just follow Jesus to the finish line

Where He’s already been

For He ran the course ahead of us

To clear away our sin

He paid the cost instead of us

So we can run with Him

So the sin that stops us moving on
