What’s better for my jaws than seaside rock?

And never gonna cause my teeth to rot

Won’t soften or shatter or break to pieces

The ROCK that matters is the One called JESUS!

What’s better than food and is calorie-free?

But full of God’s goodness and Spirit energy

Don’t need a makeover or a full detox

‘Cos I’ve discovered that JESUS ROCKS!

So let’s shout aloud to the Rock tonight

We’re gonna use our jaws for a worthy cause

We’re gonna make some noise to praise the Lord

For our Rock is in the house tonight

We’re gonna celebrate his power and might

We’re gonna sing we’re gonna shout

All about our Rock tonight

What name is at the start, in the middle and the end?

Who comes into my heart as my everlasting friend

He colours my behaviour so that all can see

That JESUS is the flavour of ROCK for me!

So I’ll praise the name of the Rock who saves

I’m gonna make the choice to lift my voice

I’m gonna raise my paws no matter who else does

For the Rock who keeps this house upright

Wants me to live by faith and not by sight
